Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Web Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, and modifying websites, from layout to function, according to the client’s specifications. They will work closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write well-designed, testable, and efficient code by following best web development practices.
  • Create website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and other languages.
  • Integrate data from back-end services and databases.
  • Gather and refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs.
  • Maintain and update websites regularly, ensuring security and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems.
  • Stay updated with emerging trends and apply them to operations and activities.
  • Collaborate with designers and other team members to match visual design intent.

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in front-end languages such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
  • Experience with server-side languages (e.g., PHP, Python, Ruby, Node.js).
  • Familiarity with database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience with frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web standards.
  • Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
  • Experience in CMS platforms like WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or custom-built CMS systems.
  • Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and RESTful web services.

Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Proven work experience as a Web Developer.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills to interact with clients and internal teams.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SEO best practices.
  • Familiarity with responsive and adaptive design.
  • Understanding of UI/UX principles.
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms (e.g., Shopify, WooCommerce).
  • Familiarity with website optimization and performance tools like Google PageSpeed Insights.
